"The Vent Service" – Refers to the service provided in Venting sessions
"The Ventee" – Refers to the user of The Vent service
"The Ventor" – Refers to the representative of The Vent who will lead the Venting session
Your use of this website and your booking of a Vent Session constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
The Vent reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions of The Vent Service, of which you will be notified through our website.
The Vent Service is a guided conversation service, we offer the opportunity to offload in stressful situations.
We appreciate that to vent anger and frustration you may need to raise your voice.
However The Vent will not tolerate abuse of its staff, abusive behaviour will always be reported to the authorities and to management. The Vent reserve the right to terminate a session without refund if the Ventee exhibits dangerous, obscene, illegal, threatening or abusive behaviour. The Vent may also terminate the session if the Ventor believes the Ventee would be more suited to medical or psychiatric attention.
The use of the Vent service does not offer any express or implicit guarantee of psychological or physiological benefit from the use of the service. We do not give advice and do not analyse. If you require counselling therapy or coaching please go to www.bacp.co.uk.
The nature of the service is clearly defined under the section "About The Vent" on our website. All our staff are trained to deliver the service under strict guidelines. Regular supervision and training ensures that we deliver the same high-quality standard in every venting session.
Please inform your Ventor of any pre-existing medical or mental conditions that might result in an emergency situation during your vent. We will not be liable for any harm suffered due to pre-existing conditions. Those in doubt of their physical suitability for a venting system (e.g. sufferers of hypertension, heart conditions etc.) should consult their GP prior to booking. No responsibility will be taken for injury as a result of The Ventee's voluntary actions.
The Vent does not accept liability for any damages, including, without limitation, indirect or consequential damages, loss of profit or any damages whatsoever arising out of, or in connection with the use of The Vent Service unless a direct result of negligence on behalf of The Vent.
The Vent will handle all personal data in accordance with obligations detailed in the Data Protection Act 1998.
